Delay in Governor Appointment Hurting Economy: Chair Dahal

Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has warned that the continued delay in appointing the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank could negatively impact the country's economy. He urged the government to promptly fill the vacant position to maintain economic stability.

Speaking at the inauguration of his party's Awakening Campaign focused on the Mid-Hill Highway in Patan, Baitadi, Chairman Dahal expressed serious concern over the government's inaction. "Prolonging this issue goes against the will of the people," he said.

Dahal stated that the campaign aims to connect citizens from the mountains, hills, and southern plains, fostering national unity and accelerating development.

He also emphasized that the CPN (Maoist Centre) would closely monitor the government's performance, adding that Nepal cannot achieve overall prosperity while regions like Sudurpaschim Province remain neglected.
