Shankar Giri, Chairman of the Hospital Development Committee, revealed that the water comes from Gopangghat in Kushma Municipality-5 and is delivered using a lifting mechanism.
The water is collected from the Kaligandaki River and stored in a tank capable of holding 150,000 liters. The Parbat District Hospital and the Health Ministry of Gandaki Province invested Rs 9 million to finish the facility.
According to Medical Superintendent Dr. Hemanta Bastola, the 50-bed hospital serves about 58,000 patients each year.
