In a significant diplomatic engagement, Nepal’s Foreign Minister, Ms. Arzu Rana Deuba, met with Ms. Alice P. Albright, CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), to discuss the ongoing progress of MCC initiatives in Nepal. 

The meeting highlighted the strong partnership between Nepal and the MCC, focusing on shared development goals that aim to enhance the country’s infrastructure and economic growth.

Minister Deuba expressed her satisfaction with the advancements made under the MCC framework and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration.

"It was a pleasure meeting with Ms. Albright and discussing the progress of MCC in Nepal. We are looking forward to further strengthening this partnership for the benefit of our shared development goals," she stated.

The MCC has been instrumental in supporting various projects in Nepal, aimed at improving the nation’s infrastructure and reducing poverty. Both leaders acknowledged the positive impact these initiatives have had on local communities and reiterated their commitment to fostering sustainable development in the region.
