591 Runners to Compete in Sixth Jumla-Rara Ultra Marathon

Jumla—A total of 591 athletes are set to participate in the sixth edition of the Jumla-Rara Ultra Marathon, which kicks off on Saturday, the Karnali Sports Club announced at a press conference today.
The will feature athletes from Nepal and abroad. Club President confirmed that 74 Nepali runners, along with international participants—two from India and one each from , and will compete in the ultra marathon.
The event will also include side races:
A 5-km run for 155 employees
A 10-km race for 355 students
Two runners from Tribhuvan Army Club will also participate in the main marathon.
Shahi shared that a total budget of Rs 2.8 million has been allocated for the event. He expressed optimism that the marathon would not only showcase athleticism but also help promote tourism in Karnali.
