Indian Power Minister offers worship at Muktinath

MUKTINATH : India’s Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, offered prayers at the sacred Muktinath Temple in Mustang district this morning. He was accompanied by Nepal’s Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka.
According to Mustang Chief District Officer Bishnu Prasad Bhusal, the ministers were part of a 16-member delegation that included Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava.
The visiting team was warmly welcomed upon arrival by Chief District Officer Bhusal, along with local security officials and elected representatives.
At the temple, priest Krishna Prasad Subedi performed the ritual offerings and presented tika and prasad to the dignitaries.
Muktinath, a revered pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, continues to draw high-profile visitors and spiritual seekers from around the world.
