Five domestic and foreign automakers in South Korea will voluntarily recall approximately 76,000 vehicles due to manufacturing defects, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on Wednesday.

Kia Corp. will recall 35,571 units across two models, including the Niro electric vehicle (EV), citing faulty airbag systems.
BMW Korea is set to recall 24,371 units from 28 models, including the 528i sedan, due to cooling pump wire connector issues that could pose a fire risk.
Renault Korea Motors will recall 8,056 units of two models, including the Arkana hybrid SUV, over software errors in the transformer and hybrid control systems.
Tesla Korea plans to fix software errors in the electric power assist steering (EPAS) system affecting 7,781 units of its Model Y.
Jaguar Land Rover Korea will address touch screen software errors in 603 units of four models, including the Defender 110 P300 SUV.

Owners can visit designated repair and service centers to have the defective parts replaced free of charge.
