The government will conduct a detailed study of the flood and damaged settlements in Thame Khola, Solukhumbu, caused by a glacial lake outburst. A technical team with experts will be sent to the affected area for this purpose. The study will also determine whether the flood-hit area is habitable or if relocation is necessary. The flood, which occurred on the 32nd of Shrawan, caused significant damage to 24 houses, a school, and a clinic. Initial inspections revealed that climate change-induced temperature rise led to the glacial lake outburst.
