India’s GDP Growth Forecasted Up to 6.8% for Next Fiscal Year: Survey

India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to grow between 6.3% and 6.8% during the financial year 2025-26 (April 2025 to March 2026), according to an economic survey released by the finance ministry on Friday.

The survey highlighted that the country's real GDP and Gross Value Added (GVA) growth for the financial year 2024-25 (April 2024 to March 2025) is estimated at 6.4%, based on the first advanced estimates of national income.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the economic survey in parliament on Friday.

As a pre-budget document, the survey provides a detailed analysis of the country's economic performance over the past fiscal year. The finance minister is scheduled to present the federal budget on Saturday.
